My first public art has officially been installed, as of late June! Very excited to have been chosen along with 5 other local artists out of over 70 applicants for the project aimed at bringing more art to community spaces.
A photo of my painting “More Like 10 O’clock Shadow” (initially painted onto multiple panels of MDF board) was converted to a vinyl wrap and permanently installed on the traffic control box on the corner of Cascade Ave and Colorado Ave in downtown Colorado Springs.
Recently made some album art for Braden Lawrence of The Districts and Keith Abrams of Pine Barons. So far they’ve only released “2nd Floor Door” but it’s definitely worth a listen. Keep an eye out for their other groovy tunes in the future.
Had the pleasure of illustrating Colorado College’s philosophy journal’s first issue. The theme is anamnesis – the concept of remembering from a past existence, roughly – and the writings are highly worth reading.
I will be selling handmade goods at the holiday market at the Machine Shop this Saturday, November 21st. My table will include such items as plant pots (including plants!), shirts, and other miscellaneous pieces.
