My first public art has officially been installed, as of late June! Very excited to have been chosen along with 5 other local artists out of over 70 applicants for the project aimed at bringing more art to community spaces.
A photo of my painting “More Like 10 O’clock Shadow” (initially painted onto multiple panels of MDF board) was converted to a vinyl wrap and permanently installed on the traffic control box on the corner of Cascade Ave and Colorado Ave in downtown Colorado Springs.
Selling art at Switchback’s first Saturday Market of the summer today, June 4th, from 10-2 pm. New ceramic work and woodcut transfer shirts will be for sale.
Excited for my first public art to be installed and to have been chosen along with 5 talented local artists for the project: Chris Alvarez Paintings, Jana L. Bussanich Artist, Deb Komitor, Phil Lear, and Courtney C Stanley!
And flattered to be featured on Colorado College’s website. Glad to receive the support.
